We undertook a galvanizing technique research project of the 863 Program or State High-Tech Development Plan.
2012
A research project of Tianjin Torch Plan was assigned to GONGDA. This project focused on the improving of galvanizing line. We got a utility patent-A new manufacturing method for a composite material with metal/ceramic stratified structure.
2011
GONGDA won the State Technology Innovation Fund for High-tech Middle and Small-sized Enterprises and the Tianjin City Technology Innovation Fund for High-tech Middle and Small-sized Enterprises. We won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Hebei Province for our electromagnetic field and gas wiping equipment, which is especially used for steel wire hot-dip galvanizing line. We obtained another utility patent—A coating thickness control method and equipment for the steel wire hot-dip galvanizing
2010
We built an oxidation-reduction type Galfan coating line for low carbon steel wire. Several patented technologies were applied to this production line. In comparison to the traditional hot-dip galvanizing line, this newly developed line features lower energy consumption, higher productivity and less pollution.
2009
GONGDA got the national level High-tech Enterprise certificate.
2007
We got the patent of steel wire single layer Galfan alloy coating technique and equipment.
2006
We got the patent-A new kind of air knife as the wiping devise.
2005
GONGDA got the authorization to use the trademark of Galfan. There are only 3 companies in China that have got this authorization. A single layer Galfan coating steel wire production line was built, and five patented technologies developed by ourselves were applied to this galvanizing line.
2004
We became the agent of WTN from Netherlands for its waste acid recovery system. We introduced advanced hot-dip galvanizing technology from the biggest galvanizing company in New Zealand. GONGDA started to cooperate with Haicheng Dunwell Industry Co., Ltd. on the production of galvanized wire.
2003
Our iron-based zinc corrosion resistant material and immersion heating technology for hot-dip galvanizing technology won the first prize of Science and Technology Progress of Tianjin City. We obtained the ISO9001 certificate from Lloyd's. We started to cooperate with two Australian experts on galvanizing technology to generalize the flux generation technology and the production technique optimizing technology, aiming at improving the hot-dip galvanizing technology in China to a higher level.
2002
Our zinc corrosion resistant material got the patent certificate. Our immersion heaters for hot-dip galvanizing won the international bidding for the Galfan coating line of Baosteel, thus the Galfan is well protected from the iron kettle contamination.
2000
Our heater for hot-dip galvanizing equipment was exported to the U.S. market, signifying the product performance reached a new level.
1999
The metal pipe type immersion heater got the utility model patent, and was applied to the production line of Shanghai Second Steel Factory. Our production line for steel-plastic composite pipe was successfully constructed, signifying we can manufacture galvanizing equipment.
1998
GONGDA was elected one of the high-tech companies for the State Science and Technology Achievement Popularization Plan. The very first metal pipe type immersion heater for galvanizing furnace in the world developed by us passed the test-run in Tianjin Ninth Metal Product Factory.
